It's not entirely about bullying, more about ethical decisions and the consequences of actions, but it does have a lot about how Chris was treated before he disappeared and could start some good discussions about the subject. It's hard to say if a reluctant reader would like it because of the more philosophical inner monologues Torey has, but an avid reader would probably enjoy it enough. I wasn't entirely thrilled with it, but it kept me reading nonetheless. I would say it's worth having in a library, absolutely, but just know there is some language and sexual content (I sound like a movie trailer).

Thanks for the comment, and for reading my review!Tahleenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10330160603781228707noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2958411746000376180.post-44142928193353282032010-10-16T23:51:36.365-04:002010-10-16T23:51:36.365-04:00Good review, Tahleen. And would you recommend it for a reluctant reader or an avid reader? Sorry so many questions, but bullying is a problem here MA, and it would be good to have some more books about bullying especially the 6th-8th grade level.

Sorry it's been so long since I've stopped by!
Heather
Buried in BooksBURIED IN BOOKShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18205451716054533728noreply@blogger.com
